Waiting List Information

The Bossier Parish Section 8 Housing "Waiting List" is closed. All future applications wil be online only.

We now have over 1700 families on the waiting list. Applicants currently on the waiting list can now look up their position or status on the waiting list using their social security number. Just click on "Applicants" and then "Lookup Waiting List Position". An updated recording about the waiting list is available at (318) 747-7823, ext 40.

Address changes for applicants on the waiting list must be provided to this office in writing immediately. All correspondence from this office will be delivered by US mail. We are not responsible for the US mail system. Mail returned to us, failure to respond to a mail out, or failure to show for a schedule appointment for any reason will result in removal from the waiting list.

The State of Louisiana has added a section to LRS 14:56, Simple Criminal Property Damage, that states, "The provisions of this Section shall include the intentional damaging of a dwelling, house, apartment, or other structure used in whole or in part as a home, residence, or place of abode by a person who leased or rented the property."
