• Effective 12-27-2022, Carbon Monoxide alarms or detectors will be required in Federally Assisted Housing. This only includes units that have gas as a utility but it also applys to housing with an attached garage or fireplace regardless of the gas utility. See Directive
• The Housing Assistance Payments contract, Section 8(d), states that it is illegal to accept any additional payment from the assisted family for any reason.
